Here’s our three-step plan to stop fracking and how you can get involved:

1. Give Origin Energy no choice but to listen

Together with communities in the Northern Territory, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people are leading actions across the country to send Origin Energy a clear message: Don’t Frack the NT.

2. Highlight the dangers of fracking
to Origin staff

Each week for the last few months, dedicated volunteers have been and will continue to beoutside Origin Energy offices across the country having conversations with their staff about how toxic the company’s plans really are.

3. Challenge their “good energy” BRAND

We can’t let Origin get away with claiming to be a good, ethical energy company while planning dangerous fracking on Aboriginal land without proper consent.

1. Give Origin Energy no choice but to listen

Together with communities in the Northern Territory, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people are leading actions across the country to send Origin Energy a clear message: Don’t Frack the NT.

But if Origin won’t listen when the people most affected by their plans are saying no, maybe they’ll listen when it’s their customers speaking out. By challenging their brand and talking to their customers about the real costs of their dirty energy plans, together we will hit them where it hurts.

Whether you’re an Origin customer or not, getting on the phone to Origin is a powerful way to show the strength of public opposition.

We know from past campaigns targeting Australia’s big 4 banks, that members of staff have an incredibly powerful voice when raising their concerns internally.

It was people power that saw Australia’s big 4 banks rule out funding for Adani’s coal mine and it’s going to be people power led by those most at stake that will stop Origin Energy from fracking the NT.
